Technical Consultant – Temenos/ Core Banking - Geylang

• Deep Domain Expertise in core banking processes including accounts, payments, loans, deposits, interest calculation, and more.
• Extensive Temenos experience, covering key modules, implementation methodology (TIM), hands-on project involvement, and official certifications.
• Good Documentation Skills: Proficient in drafting Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs), with specific experience in Temenos-aligned documentation standards.
• Value Chain Awareness: Demonstrated understanding of the end-to-end value chain within core banking domains, enabling holistic solution design and impact analysis.
• Project Delivery Experience: Active participation in core banking transformation, upgrade, and migration initiatives.
• Requirements Engineering: Skilled in eliciting business and technical requirements through workshops, stakeholder interviews, and analysis of legacy documentation.
• Gap & Impact Analysis: Experienced in identifying functional gaps and assessing business and technical impacts.
• Delivery Methodologies: Familiar with both Agile (Scrum, SAFe) and traditional Waterfall project delivery frameworks.
• Compliance Alignment: Experience documenting controls and ensuring alignment with regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Technical Acumen: Basic understanding of data models, APIs, and system integration principles.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Proven ability to bridge communication between business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Effective in working with developers, testers, business analysts, and operations teams.
• Testing & Quality Assurance: Familiar with test case creation, test coordination, and defect lifecycle management.
• Cutover & Go-Live Support: Experience supporting data migration, cutover planning, and post-go-live stabilization.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or any equivalent
• With 3+ years’ hands-on with Core Banking Platforms: Practical experience with Temenos; exposure to Avaloq, Finacle, Flexcube, or proprietary systems
• Regulatory Knowledge: Solid understanding of financial regulations including Basel III, MiFID II, PSD2, AML/KYC, and FATCA.
• Extensive experience with Temenos Transact (T24) modules, including Payments, Credit, and Wealth, with a good understanding of their functional and technical configurations.
• Proficient in Temenos Implementation Methodology (TIM), with hands-on involvement in various stages of the project lifecycle.
• Skilled in authoring Functional Specification Documents (FSDs) in alignment with Temenos documentation standards and project governance.
• Temenos Certified (or actively pursuing certification), demonstrating a commitment to platform excellence and continuous professional development.
• Subject Matter Expertise in at least one core banking domain: Payments, Credit, Wealth, or Deposits.
• Comprehensive understanding of end-to-end value chains within selected business areas, enabling effective solution design and process optimization.
• Familiar with BJB systems, including OTMS, DATAPLATFORM, and Integration Layer, supporting seamless integration and data flow across banking functions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, bridging the gap between business users and technical teams.
