Marine Surveyor (Hydrographic) - Pasir Ris

Job Info:

• Basic Salary: Up to $5,000 (depending on experience) + Performance Bonus
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm; Alternate Saturdays, 8am – 5pm
• Location: Changi Area
• Industry: Marine Construction Company

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct hydrographic surveys using multibeam/single-beam echo sounders
• Collect and analyze seabed, tide, and current data
• Process data to produce charts and maps
• Operate and maintain survey equipment and vessels
• Ensure compliance with international survey standards
• Use GIS and software for data visualization
• Prepare technical reports and recommendations
• Supervise and train junior staff
• Perform pre- and post-dredging surveys
• Calculate dredging quantities and prepare survey drawings
• Work with clients, consultants, and project teams
• Monitor environmental impacts of marine works

Job Requirements:

• Proficient in operating R2Sonic 2024 Multibeam Echo Sounder
• Experienced in multibeam calibration (patch tests) and data processing using Qinsy and Qimera
• Skilled in RTK positioning with Trimble Applanix
• Competent in using sound velocity profilers
• Familiar with AutoCAD (added advantage)
