Engineering Manager (Hydraulic products) - Bukit Batok

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Engineering Manager to lead and grow our engineering team in delivering high-performance hydraulic equipment and systems for offshore applications. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise and proven leadership in managing complex engineering projects, especially in the design, development, and manufacturing of hydraulic components used in offshore environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, develop, and manage a multidisciplinary engineering team, ensuring high standards in design, quality, and technical performance.
• Oversee the end-to-end execution of engineering projects, from technical specifications to detailed design and delivery.
• Plan and coordinate complex project engineering assignments, ensuring alignment with customer requirements, industry standards, and timelines.
• Provide technical leadership and direction in the design and integration of hydraulic systems and components for offshore applications.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including production, procurement, and project management to ensure smooth project execution.
• Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes, tools, and documentation to enhance efficiency and product quality.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant offshore and marine standards, regulations, and technologies.
• Mentor and support engineers and engineering assistants in technical development and project execution.
• Ensure engineering outputs meet safety, compliance, and quality assurance standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Hydraulic Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of engineering management experience, preferably in the offshore equipment and services industry.
• Proven experience working directly with hydraulic parts and systems in engineering or manufacturing roles.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional engineering teams and deliver complex projects.
• Experience in manufacturing hydraulic equipment for offshore or marine industries would be preferred.
• Excellent knowledge of offshore engineering standards and hydraulic component integration.
• Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
