Lab Technician (Polymer Testing)

Lab Technician (Testing):

The Lab Technician (Testing) is responsible for carrying out laboratory tests and analyses to evaluate the properties, performance, and quality of polymer resins. This role supports product development, quality assurance, and compliance by ensuring all testing is performed accurately and documented according to established standards.

Job Description:

• Perform routine tests/analysis on mechanical, physical, thermal, and flammability testing and so forth.
• Prepare test specimen by injection and/or extrusion.
• Maintain systematic documentation practice in compliance with ISO requirements. Ensure accurate and timely update of test data and other documents.
• Support internal/external ISO audit activities.
• Ensure proper storage and management of retention samples and raw materials.
• Carry out safety and housekeeping activities in the lab.
• Ensure that all consumables are sufficient for daily operations.
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by supervisor.

• Minimum Diploma in Material Science or Chemical Engineering.
• Good team player and willing to collaborate with different stakeholders to achieve common goals.
• Basic laboratory knowledge and methodologies.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to prioritize tasks based on urgency.
• Fresh school leavers are welcome as training will be provided.
• Company will be moving to a new Location in Feb 2026
