Technician (Process & Laboratory | 12 hours shift | Chemical)

• 12 Hours Rotating Shift

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform laboratory tests on in-process samples and prepare chemical reagents
• Report abnormal results to Supervisor and QC team for prompt action
• Conduct incoming chemical inspections and support material acceptance
• Perform daily equipment checks, calibration, validation, and basic troubleshooting
• Operate and maintain laboratory instruments, including minor maintenance (e.g. gas cylinder change)
• Support equipment commissioning, decommissioning, and maintenance preparation (including safe isolation)
• Raise maintenance requests and coordinate with QC and supervisors when needed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laboratory following 5S standards
• Follow all safety, environmental, and quality procedures and participate in emergency drills
• Support continuous improvement in safety, quality, and operational efficiency
• Other ad-hoc tasks as assigned

Job Requirements:

• NITEC or Diploma in Chemical Process Technology.
• At least 3 years’ working experience as Laboratory or Chemical Technician in a chemical industry.
