Assistant QA Manager (F&B) | Up to $5500 | Central Region

The Assistant Manager, Quality Assurance is responsible for overseeing the overall quality, safety, and compliance of food products produced at a central kitchen facility. The position ensures all products consistently meet internal standards as well as relevant regulatory requirements.

• Oversee food quality and safety across all production processes
• Ensure products meet company specifications and applicable regulatory standards
• Develop, implement, and review quality assurance and food safety policies
• Conduct regular inspections, audits, and compliance checks
• Maintain and continuously improve quality control systems and procedures
• Investigate and respond to customer feedback related to product quality
• Verify that all products are produced in accordance with established QA protocols
• Ensure adherence to SOPs and monitor overall product consistency
• Maintain compliance with HACCP and relevant food safety regulatory requirements
• Lead and supervise all quality assurance activities within the facility
• Support product and process development initiatives, including R&D and tasting evaluations
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

• 5 years of experience in QA, preferably within central kitchen, manufacturing, or F&B production environments
• Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related discipline
• Strong understanding of inspection processes, quality systems, and food safety standards
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and self-motivated with strong initiative
