Job Description: Full-Time / Part-Time Home Tutor (Primary Grade 4 – Singapore American School)
We are seeking an experienced and highly capable home tutor.
Student Profile- Child entering Grade 4 when school year start
- Currently studying at Singapore American School
- Looking for strong academic support, subject mastery, and structured learning guidance
- In-person tutoring at the family’s residence in Orchard Road, Singapore.
The ideal candidate will be able to teach multiple core subjects, with preference for a single tutor who can cover all subjects for continuity and consistency.
Primary teaching areas:
- English
- Mathematics
- Science
- Chinese
Candidates who specialize in individual subject or a subset of subjects are also welcome to apply, though a tutor able to cover all subjects will be strongly preferred.
Preferred Candidate Profile
We are looking for candidates with strong academic teaching experience, ideally with the following background:
- Former or current MOE-trained teachers
- Former or current teachers from international primary schools
- Experience teaching children in upper primary / equivalent elementary levels
- Familiarity with international curriculum expectations (preferred)
Additional preferred qualifications:
- Degree background in Education or Psychology preferred
- Full-time applicants strongly preferred, though part-time applicants are also welcomed
