Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and skilled IT Support Engineer to manage and support the company’s IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth daily operations and contributing to IT improvement initiatives. This role involves end-to-end IT support, server and network administration, and coordination with external vendors for IT procurement and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive IT support to end-users, including hardware, network, and application issues.
  • Administer and manage Office 365 email accounts, distribution groups, and SharePoint sites.
  • Manage user accounts and access rights via Active Directory (AD) and shared folders.
  • Perform computer hardware, software, and peripheral troubleshooting, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Monitor and manage endpoint security solutions (antivirus and security configurations).
  • Oversee network infrastructure (LAN/WLAN), including firewall administration and basic network troubleshooting.
  • Coordinate and liaise with external vendors for IT procurement, service contracts, and maintenance.
  • Monitor and maintain server backups, ensuring business continuity and data security.
  • Assess business needs and propose effective IT solutions to align with organizational objectives.
  • Implement and improve IT policies and processes to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Participate in small-scale IT projects and assist in project implementation when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office 365 administration, including SharePoint.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in Windows operating systems, printers, and endpoint security setups.
  • Working knowledge of Networking (LAN/WLAN), Firewalls, and Microsoft Active Directory (AD).
  • Experience coordinating with vendors and handling IT procurement processes.
  • Microsoft Certifications (Administrator-level) are highly desirable.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SQL Server administration is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with Azure Active Directory and Azure Cloud Solutions.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate) is a plus.
  • Project Management Certification (PMP, PRINCE2 Foundation) will be advantageous.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar IT Support / IT Engineer role.
  • Experience in managing IT infrastructure in an SME environment will be an added advantage.
