Temenos Business Analyst (Treasury / Trading)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Temenos Business Analyst to support banking technology initiatives for a leading financial institution. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders to analyse business requirements, design solutions, and support implementation across Temenos Transact (T24) trading and treasury modules.

The role requires strong expertise in private banking or wealth management environments, with hands-on experience in Treasury, Trading products, and Temenos Transact configuration.

• Lead requirements gathering workshops with business stakeholders for Trading and Treasury products including FX, Money Markets, Derivatives, Securities, and Bonds.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and system design aligned with Temenos Transact capabilities.
• Perform gap-fit analysis and recommend solutions or system enhancements to address business and regulatory requirements.
• Drive functional design, configuration, and parameterization of Temenos Trading and Treasury modules.
• Collaborate with solution architects, developers, QA, and infrastructure teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Manage and coordinate SIT and UAT planning and execution, ensuring traceability from requirements through to testing outcomes.
• Support integration testing with front office, risk, and accounting systems.
• Assist with data migration validation, regression testing, and post-go-live support.
• Provide domain expertise and mentorship to junior business analysts on Temenos and trading workflows.
• Maintain awareness of industry regulations, market practices, and standards including MiFID, Basel frameworks, and SWIFT messaging.

• Minimum 8 years of experience in banking technology, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in Temenos Transact (T24).
• Strong domain knowledge in Treasury and Trading products, including Money Markets, FX, Derivatives, Bonds, and Securities.
• Experience working with Temenos Treasury Risk (TR) modules and trading system configurations.
• Solid understanding of deal lifecycle processes, including position management, revaluation, settlement, and accounting.
• Proven ability to prepare Functional Specifications, User Stories, and Requirement Traceability Matrices.
• Hands-on experience in functional testing, SIT/UAT coordination, and production support.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.

• Experience with Temenos Integration Framework (TIF) and treasury front-to-back integration with third-party systems.
• Knowledge of Temenos Infinity, AA modules, or analytics solutions.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
• Relevant certifications in treasury or trading domains such as ACI Dealing Certificate.

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines.
