Job Description

Assist Principal Project Manager (PRPM)/ Senior Project Manager (SPM)/ Project Manager (PM) in day-to-day management of the contract.
Advise the PRPM/SPM/PM on site quality and safety issues.
Determine any non-conformances on works.
Liaise with Contractor to rectify any non-conformances and document them properly.
Ensure that decisions on site issues are conveyed to the Contractor within a reasonable time frame.
Ensure that works are carried out according to specifications, drawings and programme without compromising on quality and safety.
Provide feedback to the PRPM/SPM/PM on quality and safety matters and suggest quality improvement measures for implementation on site.
Supervise installation of instrumentation and monitoring of instrumentation.
Lead a team of supervisors to ensure full time supervision of works on site.
Any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by supervisor / client.

Job Requirement

Minimum Degree in Civil and Structural Engineering
Minimum 5 years relevant experience in project/construction environment
Proficient in relevant software programmes for planning and project work
Pro-active team player with good analytical and communication skills
Required to have at least 2 years of viaduct and/or flyover construction experience
