We are looking for a results-driven and culturally adept Sales Executive to develop and manage key client relationships. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the business culture in Singapore and Malaysia, and possess exceptional communication skills in English, Mandarin, and Malay.This role is perfect for a professional who has grown up in or has extensive experience in the Malay community, leveraging their cultural fluency and existing network to expand our market presence. Candidates with a proven sales track record and established client resources will be highly prioritized.
What you'll be doing- New Business Development:Proactively identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities within the target market, with a specific focus on clients with Malaysian and Singaporean operations.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers. Act as the primary point of contact for clients.
- Strategic Sales Planning: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Market Intelligence: Serve as the voice of the customer, providing feedback on market trends, competitive activities, and new product opportunities.
- Sales Cycle Management: Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to negotiation and closing of deals.
- Collaboration:Work closely with the marketing and product teams to ensure a cohesive approach to market penetration.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant sales experience, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Professional fluency in English, Mandarin, and Malay is mandatory. This includes spoken and written communication for business negotiations and presentations.
- Deep cultural understanding and familiarity with business etiquette in Singapore and Malaysia.
- We strongly encourage ethnic Chinese who grew up in Malaysia and now hold Singaporean citizenship or Permanent Resident status to apply.
- Experience in the new materials & new energy industrial products industry are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
