Production Engineering
- Maximize efficiency of operation and machine utilization.
- Train Assistant Engineer/ Production Technician to ensure that they are able to perform their job effectively.
- Monitor and minimize scrap rate and improve yield in the section.
- Ensure that proper and documented maintenance of machines and equipment used in production.
- Co-ordinate with R&D in new product development.
- Standardize and document new process development and provide training to the staff.
- Implement cost reduction and productivity improvement.
- Maintain facilities to ensure equipment is in good and efficient working conditions.
- Make proposals for further improvement and implement it in production upon proposal.
- Machine troubleshooting and upgrade.
- Ensure that work is performed in accordance to ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 Quality Management System
- Ensure in-line QC, SPC and disciplined documentation of data.
- Monitor and improve process stability and SPC / process capability values.
- Maintain and improve product quality.
- Take corrective and prevent recurrence action if non-conformance is found or process is out of control.
- Participate in the customer complaint-working group to assist and implement corrective and prevent recurrence action.
- Bachelor's degree or above in Automation, Electrical Engineering, Mechanics or related fields.
- Formal academic study of PLC program.
- Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Hands on experience with Siemens PLCs, familiarity with Siemens TIA Portal or Step 7 software.
