Assistant Finance Manager

Our client is seeking an Assistant Finance Manager to join their team!

• Financial reporting: Monitor and comply with financial reporting guidelines, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
• Budgeting: Prepare and review annual budgets, implementing effective budgetary controls.
• Financial statements: Create comprehensive financial statements to support decision-making processes.
• Arrears management: Develop and implement strategies to manage and reduce arrears effectively.
• Transaction recording: Ensure proper documentation of all financial transactions to maintain accuracy and transparency.
• Financial controls: Drive strong financial controls to safeguard the company's assets and maintain financial integrity.
• Grants and assets: Manage grants and assets, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and optimizing resource allocation.
• Inter-funds transfers: Oversee and facilitate inter-funds transfers to maintain proper financial flow within the organization.
• Tax reporting: Handle tax reporting responsibilities, ensuring compliance with local tax laws and regulations.
• Financial operations: Manage various financial operations to support the overall financial health of the company.

• Educational background: A Diploma in Finance, Accounting, or LCCI, coupled with at least 3 years of relevant working experience.
• Analytical skills: Strong analytical thought process with the ability to handle tight timelines and work under pressure.
• Technical proficiency: Proficiency in MS Outlook and MS Excel to effectively manage financial data and communications.
• Attention to detail: Meticulous approach to work, ensuring accuracy in all financial tasks and reporting.
• Teamwork: Ability to work independently while also being an effective team player in a collaborative environment.
