Job Responsibilities:
IT & Operations Leadership- Provide strategic leadership to a team of IT and operations engineers, cultivating a collaborative and high-performing culture.
- Oversee two primary operational streams:
- Ensure the reliable maintenance and minimal downtime of existing systems.
- Lead the implementation of new projects, including hardware setup, AV systems, system integration, and deployments.
- Uphold business continuity, IT governance, and system security in alignment with ISO27001 standards.
- Serve as the organization’s subject matter expert on hardware and infrastructure, delivering technical leadership and operational excellence.
- Review and manage technical documentation such as system architecture designs, cabling layouts, electrical diagrams, and project schedules.
- Direct resource allocation, workforce planning, and the resolution of technical issues and project deployments.
- Offer technical direction and strategic insights to internal stakeholders and clients.
- Act as a trusted advisor for hardware solutions, ensuring project feasibility and execution confidence among stakeholders.
- Manage partnerships with external vendors and fabricators, driving timely, high-quality outcomes through strong collaboration.
- Guarantee the design and construction of robust, low-maintenance structures for outdoor computing environments.
- Monitor and enforce preventive maintenance plans to maintain optimal system performance.
- Maintain comprehensive records of all installations, asset inventories, service reports, and maintenance logs.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to IT systems, software, and AV equipment, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Lead IT operations with a strong focus on business continuity and security, adhering to ISO27001 compliance standards.
- Optimize the management of internal and client networks, servers, and cabling systems.
- Oversee asset tracking, inventory management, and preventive maintenance for all IT and AV assets.
- Fulfill the role of Workplace Safety Officer, ensuring complies with safety laws and best practices.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and implement on-site safety protocols for installations and maintenance.
- Maintain compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations, minimizing operational risk.
Requirements:
- Over 5 years of experience in leading and managing high-performing technical teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience in system integration and interactive technologies (including IoT devices, projection mapping, interactive installations, vending systems, AV, and more).
- Deep understanding of technical frameworks, emerging technologies, and their real-world business applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proven track record of performing effectively under pressure.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to inspire and align cross-functional teams.
- Hands-on experience in AV systems, electrical wiring, and infrastructure setup across diverse environments.
- Highly resourceful and proactive, adept at developing innovative solutions with limited resources.
- Demonstrated success in building trusted relationships with clients, vendors, and key stakeholders.
