Choa Chu Kang - Business Manager (Cocoa Origination)

• Responsible for sourcing cocoa, Cashew, Soya & Sesame from African countries specially Nigeria & Uganda
• Having in-depth knowledge of the product and about geographical production such that from which part what quality can be sourced.
• Should have knowledge about the counter party (suppliers) to avoid any default or credit risk.
• Responsible to Trade the cocoa on terminal.
• Able to provide leadership role to operations team in Singapore & sourcing team in Nigeria & Uganda to ensure smooth execution of order.
• Able to run positions (price, stock, currency etc.) and able to deliver both top line & bottom line. Understands the financial terms and has experience of delivering PnL numbers for last 2-3 years.

Job Requirements:

• Degree - Marketing / Business Administration/ Food Technology /MBA
• At least 3 years relevant experience of sourcing Cocoa or Cashew or Soyabeans or Sesame or similar commodity in Africa. In addition, should be in leadership role and responsible to deliver profit in his recent role as Trader.
• Able to frequently travel to Africa.
