Part-Time Senior Administrative Assistant (Asian Languages Department) - Geylang
UWCSEA has a vacancy at its Dover Campus for a Part-Time (34 hours a week) Senior Administrative Assistant for Chinese departments with excellent English and Mandarin (written and spoken) skills.
Reporting to the Head of Middle School Chinese and the Head of Primary School Chinese, the incumbent will be responsible for administrative duties to support the Chinese departments.
Main Responsibilities- Produce, organize, and maintain Mandarin instructional resources (physical and electronic media).
- Prepare Mandarin teaching & learning materials.
- Perform administrative duties, including but not limited to, compiling materials, photocopying, organising books, maintaining a filing system, and assisting in the preparation of exam papers and other documents.
- Coordinate annual festival events and assist in organising class outings and the Middle School China trip.
- Assist in department budget control and management.
- Liaise with internal parties to ensure the smooth running of the department and perform any other duties assigned.
- A diploma in any related discipline is desirable.
- Relevant working experience.
- Excellent English and Mandarin (written and spoken) communication. We will assess the competency of the candidates during the process.
- Good working knowledge of Windows and Mac platforms, Google Suite, confident at using media editing software such as editing audio recordings.
- Able to work cohesively in a team-based environment as well as independently.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with a “can-do” attitude.
- Reliable, meticulous, and attention to detail.
