Chief Growth Officer (CGO) – Southeast Asia

Position Summary:

The Chief Growth Officer (CGO) for Southeast Asia (SEA) will play a critical leadership role in driving the company’s new business growth. The CGO will be responsible for identifying, developing, and executing new business growth initiatives that expand the company’s new business, revenue, and client across the SEA.

The CGO will work closely with senior leadership to define and align new business plan, growth strategies with the company’s global vision and local market needs, leveraging deep regional expertise to implement growth initiatives.

Mission & Responsibilities:

  1. New Business Development
  • Identify, pursue, and secure high-value new business opportunities across Southeast Asia
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects, leveraging industry networks and market intelligence.
  • Lead pitch processes, ensuring compelling proposals and presentations that reflect the agency’s creative and strategic strengths.
  • Lead and coordinate all areas involved in New Business activities to develop holistic and innovative new business prospect propositions.
  • Lead the development of short-and long-term business plans, targeting both new customer acquisition and existing customer expansion.
  • Increase Growth through new client acquisition as well as client expansion
  1. Pitch and Win Integration
  • Lead the integration of pitch teams, ensuring cross-functional collaboration and effective communication to present a unified and compelling pitch to clients.
  • Develop processes and guidelines for consistent pitch messaging, visual identity, and value proposition that reflect the agency’s strength and capabilities.
  1. Organic Growth
  • Drive Route66 within the SEA market including Creative and Media.
  • Help identify areas of growth and improvement within key global clients.
  • Help identify areas of growth within key local markets.
  • Optimize the company’s sales funnel, ensuring strong pipeline growth and conversion across all stages.
  • Leverage data and performance metrics to continuously assess the success of growth initiatives and adjust tactics as needed.
  1. Strategic Integration
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive integration strategy that aligns with the agency’s overall business objectives and targets.
  • Collaborate with department heads, including Creative, Accounts, Strategy, and Media, to ensure consistent integration of efforts throughout the client engagement lifecycle.
Qualifications
  • 15+ years of experience in growth, business development, or strategic leadership roles in Business development or Client services in Media Agency, Media Industry, Creative Agency.
  • Proven track record of successfully scaling businesses in Southeast Asia, with expertise in market penetration, revenue growth, and business strategy.
  • Strong understanding of the regional dynamics in key markets.
  • Experience in building and leading cross-functional teams across different countries and cultures.
  • Skills & Competencies:
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex data, generate insights, and drive decision-making.
  • High level of business acumen and deep understanding of the local and regional business environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate and manage relationships with high-profile partners and clients.
