CLINIC ASSISTANT (Alexandra/ Bishan/ Kovan)

Job Overview

As a Clinic Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the clinic. You will help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for patients and medical staff, while supporting both administrative and clinical functions.

1. Perform general administrative duties as assigned by the Clinic Supervisor or Manager, including:

o Patient registration and appointment scheduling

o Recording medical histories

o Dispensing medication accurately

o Updating medical billing and invoicing systems

1. Assist and chaperone doctors during patient consultations and examinations
2. Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring they are well-stocked and clean
3. Conduct monthly inventory of medications and consumables
4. Communicate effectively with patients to address inquiries and provide assistance
5. Comply with all clinic policies, procedures, and safety protocols
6. Able to work shifts (morning/ afternoon/ night)
7. Willingness to work at different clinic locations within the organization when needed

• Minimum GCE “O” Level or equivalent or healthcare experience
• At least 1 year of experience in a clinic or healthcare setting (preferred)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Familiarity with clinical tools and basic medical procedures
• Proficiency in Mandarin is essential to communicate effectively with Chinese-speaking patients
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
