Responsibilities:
- Set up, test, and commission industrial robotic and advanced automated machinery.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards throughout manufacturing processes.
- Provide hands-on technical support during assembly and final testing on the production floor.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and R&D, to meet manufacturing objectives.
- Troubleshoot production issues, offering technical support to teams and developing solutions to reduce downtime and defects.
- Work closely with technicians and the engineering department on machine assembly and design improvements, including BOM management.
- Implement quality control measures and initiate process enhancements to exceed product quality standards.
- Partner with product designers and engineers to ensure efficient and cost-effective product manufacturing.
- Manage and revise BOMs, with a comprehensive understanding of both 2D and 3D engineering drawings.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in industrial automation.
- Previous experience in manufacturing engineering or process engineering, with a strong grasp of manufacturing principles and technologies.
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and familiarity with manufacturing software tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to apply engineering principles to tackle real-world manufacturing challenges.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities for effective collaboration across various teams.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards relevant to the manufacturing sector.
- Self-driven and motivated to continuously enhance technical skills related to machinery; capable of performing under pressure.
- Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high quality standards.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to interface with individuals across all levels of the organization.
