Cogent is a boutique consultancy that provides investor relations (IR), public relations (PR), fundraising, crisis communications and corporate communication services to public-listed and private companies. We are looking for a resourceful and results-driven Digital Marketing Consultant to support our growing digital engagement strategies across platforms.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for advancing the Company’s digital marketing capabilities and strategising and executing digital marketing campaigns.
• Manage, maintain and optimise the Group’s websites, ensuring content is up-to-date, well-structured and aligned with business and branding objectives.
• Oversee the Group’s social media platforms (e.g. LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Xiao Hong Shu, etc), including content planning, creation, publishing and community management.
• Develop and post content on client social media accounts where applicable.
• Work closely with colleagues to produce digital content including banners, infographics, videos, presentations and newsletters.
• Track, analyse and report performance metrics (SEO, web traffic, social media engagement, etc.) and make strategic recommendations to improve reach and effectiveness.
• Assess and keep up-to-date with the various AI tools to enable more efficient creation of content or streamlining of work processes.
• Stay updated on the latest digital trends, tools and best practices.
• Liaise with vendors or tech support to troubleshoot any technical issues on digital platforms.
• Assist with other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Looking for self-motivated and hard-working individuals who want to build a career in digital marketing and communications, and digital engagement across web and social media platforms.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant digital marketing or communications experience, preferably in an agency, B2B, or professional services environment.
• Degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Business, Digital Media or a related discipline.
• Strong command of written and spoken English. Proficiency in Chinese is an added advantage (to liaise with Chinese-speaking stakeholders and work on Chinese social media platforms).
• Strategic thinker who is hands-on, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines independently.
• Experienced in the use of social media platforms, website content management systems (e.g. WordPress), SEO/SEM, email marketing platforms and analytics dashboards.
• Proficient in design and video-editing using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar content creation tools.
