What You’ll Do- Collaborate with the sales team to identify and qualify business opportunities.
- Work with regional sales leaders to define go-to-market strategy, target segments, pipeline development, and conversion optimization.
- Deliver compelling demos of the platform that clearly address customer challenges and highlight unique value and differentiation.
- Lead technical discovery, gather requirements, design tailored solutions, address objections, and resolve technical blockers.
- Own the technical relationship with customers, including product briefings, RFP responses, proofs of concept, and coordination with technical resources.
- Advise customers on integration strategies, architecture, and implementation best practices.
- Represent the voice of the customer internally, advocating for enhancements and influencing roadmap priorities with Product and Engineering teams.
- Participate in solution architecture governance, reviewing designs, assessing risks, and suggesting improvements.
- Develop and maintain solution design documents, business requirement documents, configuration checklists, and handover materials.
- Introduce reusable blueprints, playbooks, and demo accelerators to improve solution delivery.
- Promote knowledge sharing and alignment within the Solution Architecture team.
- Help define the role of Solution Architecture in customer acquisition, growth, and long-term success.
- Travel as needed for critical customer engagements.
- Presales & Technical Discovery – Leading sessions to qualify opportunities and align solutions with business objectives.
- Solution Design & Value Communication – Creating tailored solution narratives and demos that articulate value and differentiation.
- Technical Leadership & Objection Handling – Providing architectural expertise to guide decision-making and address challenges.
- Cross-functional Collaboration – Working with product, engineering, sales, and customer success teams to drive outcomes.
- Architectural Governance – Defining and promoting scalable, reusable solution patterns and principles.
- Practice Development – Streamlining processes through automation, tooling, and reusable assets.
- Mentoring & Coaching – Guiding team growth through feedback and technical knowledge transfer.
- Knowledge Sharing & Enablement – Developing documentation, training, and best practice guides.
- Business Process Optimization – Analyzing workflows (onboarding, quoting, provisioning, billing) to improve efficiency.
- Platform Design Expertise – Building platforms for direct, marketplace, and channel-based sales models.
- E-commerce Integration & Fulfillment Automation – Integrating marketplaces and order workflows with vendor APIs for automated subscription lifecycle operations.
- Strong understanding of subscription business models, lifecycle management, pricing strategies, billing models, renewals, and proration.
- Excellent communicator, able to convey complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven leadership and ability to inspire high performance.
- Strong relationship-building skills with both customers and cross-functional teams.
- Experience engaging Director and C-level executives to influence strategic decisions.
- Ability to shape technical strategy in high-value opportunities.
- Resilient and adaptable in high-pressure environments.
- Quick learner of emerging technologies in the cloud and IT space.
- 8+ years in sales engineering or solution architecture, preferably in subscription-based SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS monetization.
- 8+ years of technical experience with cloud platforms, applications, and development tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (advanced degree preferred).
