Senior Software Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer for one of the region's most prominent tech companies. If you are passionate about building high performance applications and thrive in a collaborative environment, this role is for you.
As a Senior Software Engineer on the Customer Support Platform, you'll report to the Senior Software Engineering Manager and develop main components for the internal AI driven Customer Support platform. The role offers unique opportunities to work on features that directly impact user trust and satisfaction.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform- You will work with Product/Design/Analytics teams to understand problems and requirements then provide feedback, options, trade-offs, estimations, and timelines.
- You will collaborate with Engineers to brainstorm and implement technical solutions that are scalable, reliable, and address the actual problems.
- You will write code that is reusable, scalable, and testable. Make sure features are delivered on time and with high quality.
- You will be responsible and responsive during on-call duty. Develop and fix production issues. Assist on ad hoc queries from other teams.
- Identify pain points and inefficiencies in codebase and systems, propose improvements, and items to address them.
- 3+ years of back-end development experience
- Knowledge of Go, Protocol Buffers and gRPC
- Working understanding of latest LLM models (GPT, Claude) and Agentic AI architecture
- Computer Science foundation in algorithms, time complexity, performance optimisation, data structures, and system design
- Experience in user behavior analysis, log and error collection, and analysis tools.
- You have a working knowledge of several architectural approaches, caching, data storage, and security
