Architect (Qualified Person - QP)

Job Overview:

This role requires a blend of creative design, technical knowledge, and regulatory expertise to ensure projects are executed smoothly from concept to completion.

Requirements:

• Qualification: Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Architecture.
• Registration: Registered Architect with the Board of Architects (Singapore) or relevant local body.
• Experience: Minimum 8-10 years of experience, with a proven track record in landed residential projects (terrace, semi-d, bungalow).
• Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software. Strong knowledge of local building codes (BCA) and planning regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design & Planning: Develop and review architectural designs, master plans, and detailed drawings for landed residential projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements and company standards.
• Regulatory Compliance (QP Role): Act as the Qualified Person (QP) for all architectural submissions. Prepare, endorse, and submit planning permissions (e.g., Written Permission) and building plan applications to relevant authorities (e.g., URA, BCA).
• Authority Liaison: Liaise with government agencies and regulatory bodies to secure necessary approvals and respond to technical queries or requisitions.
• Coordination: Collaborate closely with Professional Engineers (PE), project managers, and consultants to ensure design intent is maintained throughout the construction phase.
• Site Support: Conduct site visits to oversee architectural works, resolve discrepancies in drawings, and ensure construction aligns with approved plans and specifications.
• Quality Control: Ensure all architectural workmanship meets required quality standards, contractual specifications, and safety regulations.
• Documentation: Manage all architectural documentation, including contract drawings, schedules, and variation orders related to design changes.
