Seashell Academy, under Xinghai Education Group, is a PSLE-focused tuition centre specialising in Mathematics, Science, and Chinese. We are looking for dedicated Science Teachers who can make science fun, engaging, and exam-focused for primary students.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver Science lessons aligned with MOE syllabus and PSLE exam requirements
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and hands-on experiments to enhance engagement
- Teach across PSLE Science topics: Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, Energy, Earth & Space Systems
- Provide exam-focused training, emphasising keywords, answering techniques, and structured responses
- Assess students’ progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt teaching methods accordingly
- Communicate regularly with parents about learning strategies and student progress
- Participate in curriculum production and enhancement
- Participate in training sessions, centre meetings, and tuition centre events (e.g., Open Houses, workshops)
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Education, or related field
- At least 2 years of teaching experience in a tuition centre, enrichment school, or MOE school
- Strong knowledge of Singapore MOE Science syllabus and PSLE exam requirements
- Hands-on teaching style, able to make abstract concepts practical and engaging
- Passionate, patient, and committed to student success
- Able to work on weekday (afternoons to evenings) and weekends (morning to afternoon).
