Senior Planning Engineer (A1 Main Contractor)

Our client is seeking a Senior Planning Engineer (A1 Main Contractor) to join their team!

• Site Technical Coordination — Work closely with the Planning Manager or Project Manager to resolve on-site engineering challenges and prepare authority submissions that keep the project aligned with regulatory requirements.
• Documentation & Reporting — Prepare and submit shop drawings, materials documentation, Method of Statements, monthly progress claims, and project management reports to ensure clear project tracking and effective stakeholder communication.
• Sequencing & Scheduling — Develop and implement detailed sequencing plans for structural work and resource allocation, coordinating micro-schedules across trades and disciplines in alignment with the Master program.
• Procurement & Subcontractor Support — Assist in defining procurement requirements and evaluating subcontractors for structural work, contributing to efficient and optimised project delivery.
• Progress Monitoring — Track and monitor progress across structural, architectural, and M&E works using scheduling tools to ensure timelines and project milestones are consistently met.
• Site Supervision — Supervise site activities to uphold compliance with company Standard Operating Procedures, quality standards, and contractual specifications.
• Quality Inspections & Documentation — Conduct inspections and maintain thorough documentation to verify work quality and ensure compliance with the Temporary Occupation Permit (TOP) checklist.
• EHS Compliance — Champion and enforce environmental, health, and safety practices on-site to foster a safe, compliant, and responsible work environment.

• Experience: At least 3 years of experience as a planning engineer, preferably with experience working on Precast, Prefabricated Prefinished Volumetric Construction (PPVC), or Modular Engineering Technology (MET) projects.
• Technical Software Proficiency — Solid working knowledge of MS Office and AutoCAD, along with a foundational understanding of Building Information Modeling (BIM) software, will support success in this role.
• Quality Management Training — Completion of Quality Management (QM) project training is considered an advantage and demonstrates a commitment to delivering work to the highest standards.
• Professional Registration — Registration as a Core-trade Foreman or Supervisor is preferred, reflecting the level of on-site leadership and accountability expected in this position.

• Salary: $4800 - $6500
