Position Overview
Career progression is based on the ability to both fundraise and serve as a critical liaison among the front-office sales team, internal investment product desks, and legal/compliance groups to ensure capital onboarding runs seamlessly.
Core Responsibilities- Business Development, Client Base Cultivation & Fundraising Support
Build an understanding of the deal pipeline across multiple industries: high-tech, medtech, semiconductors, real estate, digital assets, and hedge funds.
Prospect Mapping: Conduct deep regional and sector-specific market intelligence to identify and map prospective Limited Partners (LPs), ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) family offices, and institutional allocators. Manage CRM System on Monday to ensure client data is up to date.
- Fundraising Campaigns: Support senior business development directors during active fund cycles by organizing roadshows, coordinating investor webinars, and tracking capital allocation timelines.
- Pipeline Momentum: Manage and follow up on institutional investor inquiry logs, maintaining consistent, professional outreach to shepherd prospects from initial introduction to final fund closing.
- Business Presentation Curation & Industry Expertise
- High-Impact Material Creation: Synthesize complex financial models and investment structures to draft, refine, and update institutional pitch decks, Private Placement Memorandums (PPMs), Limited Partnership Agreements (LPAs), and one-page investment teasers.
- Diligence Execution: Own the compilation of comprehensive data required for Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs) submitted by institutional allocators.
- Market Acumen: Actively monitor industry trends across alternative assets and macroeconomic indicators to draft concise, actionable internal briefing notes and client-facing newsletters.
- Internal Stakeholder & Compliance Liaison
- Regulatory Compliance: Act as a critical frontline gatekeeper ensuring all distributed marketing materials, performance metrics, and fund disclosures strictly comply with regional regulatory standards (such as MAS mandates in Singapore and cross-border placement rules).
- Onboarding & KYC Management: Serve as the direct intermediary between prospective clients and he internal Legal & Compliance team to execute rigorous Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) look-through protocols.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner directly with internal Portfolio Managers to gather real-time performance data and coordinate with external third-party fund administrators to assess the commercial and legal feasibility of structured fund listings.
- Academic Excellence: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Business Administration, or experience in business development. (Graduation years 2024–2026 preferred).
- Technical & Analytical Proficiency: Advanced capabilities in financial modeling and data manipulation. Exceptional skills and up-to-date applications in AI tools.
- Communication Skills: Elite written and verbal English communication skills, with the absolute confidence required to present clear investment metrics to senior managing directors, fund managers, and investors.
- Mindset & Agility: A proactive, "no task too small" entrepreneurial drive. Must be exceptionally organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple high-stakes projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
