Bedok - Planning & Coordination Officer

The role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Planning & Coordination Officer to join our team. In this role, you will contribute to strategic business planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support business decisions. You will collaborate closely with various business units across the Company to provide insights that promote growth and enhance operational efficiency, as well as coordinate with government agencies and external business partners.

• Develop the annual budget, forecast, and long-term plan, providing analysis and justification.
• Evaluate the feasibility and economics of the Capital Investments
• Track expenses and capital expenditures of business units, taking appropriate actions for cost control.
• Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial and performance reports.
• Prepare presentations and business reports to senior management and shareholders.
• Provide financial insights and analysis to assist business decisions making
• Coordinate and maintain effective communication with external business partners and government agencies

• Possess a recognised degree in Engineering, Business Administration or Accountancy
• Minimum 5 years of working experience and at least 3 years of work experience in financial planning & analysis or cost accounting
• Essential prerequisites include good analytical & interpersonal skill, attention to details and accuracy, able to work independently under tight deadlines, excellent written & verbal communication skills, highly proficient in Microsoft Excel (i.e. pivot table, Vlookup) & PowerPoint
• Prior experience in SAP/knowledge of cost accounting is a plus
