ABOUT THE ROLE

The role also includes fulfilling statutory responsibilities as a Fire Safety Manager under the Fire Safety Act.

• Prepare all necessary work or purchase orders in the course of your duties to maintain and manage the property.
• To maintain and submit maintenance reports.
• Prepare and submit maintenance reports.
• Attend to inquiries, complaints, reports and correspondence relating to the administration of the Corporation, its property and Subsidiary Proprietors.
• Evaluate contractors’ performance and to submit evaluation reports.
• Enforce and administer the service contracts and to act upon the terms and conditions of agreements made under these contracts.
• Monitor expiry of licenses, contracts and any other forms of documentation.
• Manage and maintain inventory of all equipment and supplies used for the operations of the property.
• Collate and prepare all incoming invoices with supporting work or purchase orders and submit to the Centre Manager for their recommendation for payment.
• Keep proper records of all work and purchase orders.
• Supervise all contracted works.
• Implement preventive and corrective maintenance plans.
• Plan, organize and execute periodic checks on services as well as contracts.
• Supervise and manage on site staff including their performance, behaviour and attitude to the best interest of the Corporation.
• Execute directions given by the Centre Manager with regard to the operations of the property.
• Carry out periodic routine inspections and tasks for the proper operations of the property.
• Keep proper records of M&E drawings readings and to monitor the performance of plant and equipment.
• Check all service contractors and sub-contractors on site work and to report irregularities.
• Proposed and managed upgrading/retrofitting projects.
• To carry out general duties as specified under Fire Safety (Fire Safety Manager) regulations, Fire Safety Act.
