Job Responsibilities
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled data analytics professional to join our Quality Assurance team within Compliance. Along with performing controls testing and assurance work over various casino process areas, you will play a key role in using data analytics to identify potential control gaps and lapses in casino processes to support the team's assurance work.
Key Responsibilities- Process Reviews and Compliance:
- Perform or assist in process reviews to ensure controls/procedures are being complied with, utilizing data analytics to identify potential gaps and lapses.
- Develop and execute data-driven checks to ensure controls are implemented accordingly and procedures are updated.
- Data Analytics:
- Explore, design and develop data analytics scripts and programs using data from various sources (systems and Excel files) to identify potential control gaps and lapses in business processes.
- Utilize data visualization tools and statistical analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and insights that inform audit findings and recommendations.
- Explore, propose and develop analytics solutions to elevate team's work efficiency.
- Reporting and Training:
- Assist in finalizing review findings, recommendations, and reports to support management reporting, and assigned tasks/projects.
- Support the team in preparing management reports on key activities, outcomes, and assigned tasks/projects.
- Develop the team's knowledge in data analytics
Job Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Computing/Data Science, or equivalent Professional Certifications in equivalent in relevant disciplines.
- At least 3 years of experience in compliance testing, auditing and/or data analytics.
Skills:
- Good understanding of, and practical knowledge in data analytics/data science.
- Proficient with scripting/programming language Python, SQL or equivalent.
- Proficient with visualization tools Microsoft Power BI or equivalent.
- Positive attitude with the ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
