Global Banking & Markets, EM Structured Trading, Structured Products - Volatility and other Exotics, Analyst - Bukit Merah
Emerging Markets (EM) Structured Trading is responsible for market
- making and trading a variety of fx and interest rate products
- including swaptions and other exotics
- on Asia EM currencies.
Our franchise covers institutional (corporations, financial service providers, insurance companies, money managers and hedge funds managers) and private wealth clients.
The team has wide range of responsibilities, such as market making, development of new product/client custom-fit solution and risk management of existing portfolio.
Responsibilities:
- Market making for Interest Rate Swaptions and other volex products
- Trade idea generation, Risk monitoring, and trade execution
- Risk management of existing portfolios and new trades
- Coordinating with Quants, Strategists, Structuring, Sales, Federation, and other teams to refine strategies and drive business initiatives
- Work closely and collaboratively as a team to deliver results at the highest standards
Required Qualifications:
- Relevant Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field with an excellent academic record
- Strong technical/analytical/quantitative skills
- Attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills with a keen ability to think critically in evolving market conditions
- Ability to thrive and perform in a challenging and high-pressure environments
- Good communications skills and ability to perform within and outside the team
- Solid work ethic and high level of motivation
- Ideally some knowledge of risk management, trade execution, and derivative models
- Coding skills preferred
