Position Summary

The E-commerce and Marketing Manager will lead the Marketing & Communications (Marcom) function of the company, responsible for all branding, marketing, digital, e-commerce, and public relation initiatives. This role involves building and leading a new local Marcom team, while also managing and collaborating with the established offshore team to ensure seamless delivery of campaigns.

The E-commerce and Marketing Manager will develop and implement strategies that strengthen brand equity, drive sales growth, and enhance customer engagement across all customer touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Leadership & Team Building
  • Establish, mentor, and grow a high-performing local Marcom team.
  • Lead and manage the offshore team, ensuring strong alignment and collaboration across both groups.
  • Set clear KPIs, provide coaching, and conduct regular performance reviews.
  • Foster an innovative, collaborative, and performance-driven team culture.
  1. Strategic Planning & Brand Management
  • Design, implement, and review the company’s annual marketing plan and budgets.
  • Drive brand consistency across all channels including e-commerce, retail, events, and corporate communications.
  • Continually evaluate and adjust strategies to respond to changing market conditions and consumer behavior.
  • Safeguard and elevate the brand image through effective messaging and positioning.
  1. Marketing Campaigns & Promotions
  • Plan and oversee seasonal and annual marketing campaigns (e.g., Valentine’s Day, Christmas, Chinese New Year).
  • Coordinate product catalogs, campaign shoots, creative mock-ups, and production.
  • Oversee development of collaterals across print, online, social, and outdoor media.
  • Partner with external agencies, vendors, and media to deliver impactful campaigns.
  1. Digital, E-commerce & Performance Marketing
  • Lead all e-commerce marketing initiatives including campaign launches, promotions, and online merchandising.
  • Manage performance marketing across channels (Google Ads, Meta, TikTok) and ensure ROI.
  • Drive SEO, SEM, CRM, and email marketing strategies to expand reach and improve conversions.
  • Execute interactive marketing campaigns to increase website traffic, subscriptions, and customer loyalty.
  • Stay ahead of market and technology trends, piloting innovations to keep the brand competitive.
  1. Public Relations & Media
  • Develop and execute public relation campaigns to enhance brand visibility and credibility.
  • Manage media relations, press releases, media kits, and event coverage.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with journalists, partners, and influencers.
  1. Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Product Development to align product launches with brand stories.
  • Coordinate with Operations, Retail, and Corporate Affairs to ensure promotional efforts are well-executed.
  • Support corporate partnerships and joint campaigns as needed.
Requirements
  • Degree in Mass Communication, Marketing, Business, or related discipline.
  • At least 6–8 years of relevant experience, with 2–3 years in a managerial capacity.
  • Proven experience in building and managing teams (including local and offshore).
  • Strong background in marketing strategy, branding, digital, and e-commerce marketing.
  • Solid track record in public relation and media engagement.
  • Experience in planning and managing budgets.
  • Excellent communication and copywriting skills; able to deliver compelling messages.
  • Hands-on and execution-driven — willing and able to get involved in the day-to-day marketing tasks (campaign setup, content reviews, copywriting, design approvals, and reporting), not just high-level planning.
  • Proactive, creative, and practical problem-solver with strong organizational skills.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A relationship builder, team player, and self-starter with high energy and drive.
