Lead, Pathways & Community Engagement

Lead the development and execution of pathways and community engagement strategies to strengthen the accountancy talent pipeline in Singapore. The role drives engagement with educational institutions, employers, industry partners, government agencies and other stakeholders to promote accountancy as a profession of choice, enhance career opportunities, and support the attraction, development and retention of accounting and finance talent.

The incumbent will oversee campus outreach, employer engagement and stakeholder partnerships, while leading initiatives that connect students, educators, employers and industry professionals across different stages of the talent pipeline. The role contributes to ISCA's strategic objectives of growing the profession and supporting workforce development needs of the accountancy sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute campus outreach strategies across secondary schools, junior colleges, ITE colleges, polytechnics, universities and private institutions to position accountancy as a profession of choice and strengthen the talent pipeline.
• Develop and manage employer engagement initiatives and partnerships, connecting organisations with emerging talent and supporting workforce development objectives for the profession.
• Serve as ISCA's key relationship manager for educators, ECG counsellors, parents, students and employer partners, fostering strong stakeholder relationships and collaboration opportunities.
• Identify, develop and drive new partnerships and engagement platforms with educational institutions, employers and ecosystem partners to expand outreach reach and impact.
• Oversee student engagement and development programmes, including ISCA Student Member initiatives, Career Exploration events and student communication channels.
• Manage study awards, sponsorships, scholarships and book prizes across partner educational institutions.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to curate content, identify industry speakers and showcase diverse career pathways and opportunities within the accountancy profession.
• Monitor, analyse and report on key performance indicators relating to outreach, stakeholder engagement, membership growth, programme outcomes and departmental initiatives.
• Lead and mentor team members, ensuring effective engagement/ outreach delivery and achievement of departmental objectives.

Requirements:

• Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related discipline
• At least 5 years of experience in outreach, partnerships, or stakeholder engagement
• Experience managing relationships with educational institutions, employers, and industry associations.
• Prior experience leading or mentoring a team.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage confidently across educational institutions, employers, and professional communities
• Demonstrated ability to develop partnerships and drive collaborative initiatives involving multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to run multiple initiatives concurrently
• Strong analytical skills with experience tracking KPIs, evaluating programme effectiveness and preparing management reports.
• Resourceful, proactive and results-oriented, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
