CNC Machinist (5-axis Milling / Turning) cum Programmer - URGENT HIRING
About the role
We are seeking a skilled CNC 5-axis Milling / Turning Machinist cum Programmer to join our team at Wong Hing Long Technologies Pte Ltd, located in the Defu Industrial Park North-East Region. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for operating and programming our state-of-the-art CNC milling machines to produce high-quality parts and components for our diverse range of clients.
What you'll be doing- Set up and operate CNC 5-axis Milling / Turning machines to produce parts and components to precise specifications
- Program CNC 5-axis Milling / Turning machines using CAD/CAM software to create efficient and accurate machining processes
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed to ensure consistent quality
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC 5-axis Milling / Turning machines
- Communicate with engineers and production managers to understand project requirements and deliver on-time solutions
- Maintain detailed records of machine operation, production data, and any issues encountered
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a CNC 5-axis Milling / Turning milling machinist, with a strong understanding of CNC programming and operation
- Proficient in using CAD/CAM software, such as Mastercam or SolidWorks, to program CNC 5-axis Milling / Turning machines
- Excellent mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve machine issues
- Attention to detail and the ability to work with tight tolerances and specifications
- Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with engineers and production staff
- Certification in CNC machining or a related field is preferred
