About the Role

We’re hiring a Lead English Teacher for the N1 class (ages 2–3) at a boutique international preschool near Mountbatten MRT. The school operates out of a purpose-built black-and-white bungalow and was recently recognised as one of Singapore’s top three preschools.

With a strong play-based philosophy and close-knit teaching team, this is a rare opportunity to join a preschool that values creativity, autonomy, and professional trust.

What You’ll Do

Lead daily N1 classroom routines, play-based lessons, and outdoor sessions
Use storytelling, dramatic play, and open-ended activities to foster inquiry
Engage confidently with expat parents at drop-off and pick-up (95% expat demographic)
Collaborate closely with international colleagues across teaching and planning
Maintain a safe, warm, and developmentally appropriate classroom aligned with ECDA guidelines

Who We’re Looking For

ECDA-certified (minimum L1) with at least 1 year of preschool teaching experience
Prior experience in an international preschool setting is a must
Confident classroom presence and strong communication skills with both children and parents
Belief that play is serious work — with warmth, creativity, and professionalism
L2 certification is a bonus, but not mandatory

Key Details

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Class Level: N1 (ages 2–3)
Annual Leave: Over 55+ paid weekdays off (MOE-aligned school calendar)
Bonus: Annual performance bonus (average 1.5 months in 2024, up to 2 months for top performers)
