Job Summary:
We are looking for a Tech Refresh Engineer to support IT device lifecycle replacement projects within a healthcare environment. You will be responsible for the deployment, replacement, and migration of end-user devices, ensuring smooth transitions with minimal disruption to daily operations.
Responsibilities:
- Perform onsite PC/laptop refresh, deployment, and replacement activities across healthcare sites
- Support data backup, migration, and restoration for end users
- Install, configure, and set up operating systems, software, and business applications
- Ensure all devices comply with IT standards, security policies, and configuration guidelines
- Provide basic troubleshooting during migration and post-deployment support
- Coordinate with end users to schedule device replacement and minimize operational impact
- Maintain accurate documentation of asset movement, deployment records, and completion status
- Escalate technical issues to relevant support teams when required
Requirements:
- Minimum Nitec in IT / Computer Studies or related field
- Minimum 6 months of relevant working experience in IT support, desktop support, or tech refresh / deployment projects
- Basic knowledge of Windows OS, hardware setup, and networking fundamentals
- Comfortable working onsite in a healthcare environment
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable to work 5.5 days per week with normal working hours.
- MMR and TDAP vaccinations are required (claimable)
