Technical Project Manager - Tampines

Job Responsibilities

Project Management:

• Plan, manage, and execute cabling and low-voltage system projects, including data centers, server rooms, surveillance systems, access control systems, and network cabling.
• Develop project plans, control schedules, allocate resources, manage budgets, and assess risks.
• Regularly report project progress and risks to the management team.

Technical Support:

• cabling, patching, cabinet installation, and testing skill set.
• Familiar with various cables, fiber optics, and network equipment installation and adjustments.

Data Organization and Reporting:

• Prepare project progress reports, testing reports, and technical documentation.
• Regularly update project data, drawings, compliance documents, and prepare closure reports.

Communication and Coordination:

• Maintain effective communication with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure projects are completed on time and with high quality.
• Coordinate cross-departmental requirements and resolve on-site technical issues.

Hiring Requirements

Education:

• Degree in Information Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Network Engineering, or a related field.

Work Experience:

• At least 2 years of experience in cabling and server room planning and implementation.

Skills:

• Familiar with network fiber optic installation and patch management.
• Able to understand server room design diagrams (AutoCAD, Visio).
• Possess the ability to analyze problems and solve on-site technical issues.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Project, Excel, and Word for project management and data compilation.
• Capable of writing technical reports and documentation.

Language Skills:

• Mandarin.
• English.

Certifications (Better):

• Cisco CCNA/CCNP
• CompTIA Network+
• Project Management Professional (PMP)

• Proactive work attitude, high stress tolerance, meticulous and responsible.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, able to quickly adapt to team collaboration.
• Attention to detail, capable of accurately organizing data and managing documents.

Willing to work overtime or travel as required by the project.
