Overview

A leading Asian bank is currently executing multiple IT system implementation projects across its APAC branches. This role aims to centralize PMO functions, streamline operations, and build a shared knowledge platform to improve efficiency across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct knowledge transfer from current bank staff and quickly gain an understanding of ongoing PMO tasks.
• Analyze existing PMO processes and identify opportunities for standardization and improvement.
• Develop a strategic plan for centralizing internal PMO operations.
• Build and lead a centralized PMO team to support multiple projects.
• Create a platform to consolidate and share project knowledge across APAC.
• Improve resource utilization by enabling PMO staff rotation across projects.
• Prepare planning documents, evaluation reports, and progress updates for senior management.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong understanding of the IT system implementation lifecycle.
• Proven experience in project initiation and management, preferably within a banking IT environment (as a bank employee or IT consultant).
• Hands-on experience with PMO-related processes: outsourcing assessments, payments, invoicing, budgeting, and issue tracking.
• Skilled in creating and presenting project documentation and reports to senior stakeholders.
