Quality Control Lab Analyst [Energy MNC/ West/ UP $4.3k]

• Focus: Perform QC laboratory testing to ensure product quality, compliance, and safe operations
• Office location: Jurong Island onsite
• Working hours: 4 days a week - Predominantly Night Shift (8PM to 8AM) / Day Shift (8AM to 8PM) on rotating schedule
• Contract: 12 months (maternity cover, extension possible)

• Minimum Diploma in Industrial Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or equivalent
• At least 3 years of QC laboratory experience in chemical manufacturing or similar industries
• Strong chemistry knowledge and ability to perform laboratory testing and analysis
• Proficient in analytical techniques and data interpretation
• Familiar with LIMS, SAP, MS Office, and laboratory instruments
• Strong problem-solving skills including Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
• Good mathematical skills (fractions, ratios, proportions)
• Detail-oriented with high accuracy in reporting
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision, especially during night shifts
• Strong communication, teamwork, and safety compliance mindset
• Adaptable and committed to continuous improvement and safety culture

MAIN FUNCTIONS

• Perform testing on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products
• Communicate batch results and recommend corrective actions when required
• Record results in LIMS, prepare reports, and issue Certificates of Analysis (COA)
• Perform calibration and verification of laboratory instruments and maintain records
• Prepare and manage test solutions and reagents with proper storage controls
• Retain and manage product samples per retention requirements
• Support Chemists in audits, validation, change control, RCA, and CAPA activities
• Maintain laboratory housekeeping and ensure proper waste disposal
• Ensure compliance with HSE policies, SOPs, and regulatory standards
