Pharmacy Technician Job description
  • Assisting in the processing of prescriptions (registration of prescriptions, typing, picking, labelling, and dispensing of medications) and screening of prescriptions
  • Provide appropriate counselling and information to patients and caregivers.
  • Manage drug inventory (e.g. stock replenishment, conducting stock counts and inventory checks)
  • Handles enquiries related to medication supplies, drug related issues, product information, pharmacy services and general patient workflow.
  • Picking, packing and labeling of medicine in accordance to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
Qualifications
  • Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science (Clinical Track) or its equivalent or GCE A/O/N level with a Certificate in Pharmacy Technician course conducted by Pharmaceutical Society of Singapore
  • Candidates who do not have Pharmaceutical Science Diplomas can be considered for junior / temp roles.
Pharmacist Job Description
  1. Medication Management
  • Review, prepare, and dispense prescriptions.
  • Ensure accuracy and safety in drug dispensing.
  • Monitor stock levels and manage inventory.
  1. Patient Care Support
  • Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, and interactions.
  • Provide drug information to patients and healthcare staff.
  • Support medication adherence for better patient outcomes.
  1. Clinical Support
  • Participate in ward rounds when necessary.
  • Review medication charts and provide clinical input.
  • Assist in adverse drug reaction (ADR) reporting and medication error tracking.
  1. Regulatory & Safety Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with hospital and national pharmacy regulations.
  • Maintain proper documentation and storage of medications.
  • Support audits and quality improvement initiatives.
  1. Education & Training
  • Train junior pharmacists, pharmacy assistants, and interns.
  • Conduct in-service education for healthcare teams.
  • Stay updated with pharmaceutical knowledge and practices.
  1. Administrative Duties
  • Assist in policy-making and pharmacy operations planning.
  • Manage procurement and budgeting for pharmacy supplies.
  • Liaise with pharmaceutical suppliers and vendors.
Requirement
  • Bachelor in Pharmacy
  • Registered with SPC
