Retail assistant (full time | $2400 to $2800 | sign on bonus) - Geylang

Retail Assistant roles & responsibilities include:

• Support the day-to-day business operations of the retail store
• Greeting customers the moment they enter the store and making them feel welcome
• Perform cashiering function / Cashiering counter closing
• Be approachable and be a good listener in discovering customers’ needs
• Recommend a product and solution in meeting customers’ needs & objectives
• Generate interest through the sharing of product knowledge
• Keeping abreast of product knowledge through continuous learning
• Overcoming customers’ objections
• Upselling of pet accessories, toys etc.
• Promote and market PLC membership sign-ups & renewals
• Provide tender loving care to small animals in the store
• Perform general housekeeping to maintain a safe and hygienic environment for staff, customers and pets"

Requirements:

• 5 days work week, including weekends and public holidays
• 11am - 9.30pm with two breaks (all other outlets)

• Sign-on Bonus: You will be entitled to a sign-on bonus of $200.00 on completion of every two (2) months of continuous service during the first six (6) months of service as per the Company’s Sign-On bonus policy. The payment will be credited on the following month’s (third (3rd) , fifth (5th) and seventh (7th) month) payroll. You must still be in service at the time of payment to be eligible for the payout.
