Opening Job Opportunity:
We have an opening for an Assistant Service Manager in the Chiller Division. You will work closely with your team to ensure day-to-day operations are executed in a safe and timely manner. In this role, you will be responsible for:
What You Will Do:
- Manage overall repair and installation operations of the Chiller service team.
- Lead and support on-site servicing, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and workshop repair of chillers systems for both industrial and semiconductor sectors.
- Ensure high workmanship quality, safety compliance, and minimal downtime for customers.
- Supervise and mentor a team of service engineers to ensure upholding of quality and safety standards.
- Participate in chiller installation projects including site coordination/installation, electrical interface, commissioning, testing, and handover.
- Plan manpower deployment, job scheduling, tools readiness, spare parts availability, and service documentation.
- Support technical discussions with customers and resolve site escalations professionally.
- Drive continuous improvement in reliability, productivity, and service processes.
What You Must Have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 4 years and above of leadership and hands-on experience working with industrial or commercial refrigeration and chiller systems.
- Strong engineering fundamentals with proven troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and able to identify root causes and implement effective corrective actions.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage an engineering team and provide technical guidance on-site or in the workshop.
- Strong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to interface professionally with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
