About the Role

As our Assistant Finance Manager, you will take ownership of consolidated reporting, financial governance, regulatory compliance, and full-suite accounting activities. You’ll ensure our numbers are accurate, timely, and audit‑ready, while helping the organisation maintain strong financial discipline.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both hands‑on accounting and higher‑level group reporting.

1. Group Reporting & SGX Compliance

• Support the CFO with SGX reporting, including half‑year and full‑year results announcements.
• Prepare monthly consolidated financial statements for the Group.
• Produce quarterly and half‑yearly financial reports.
• Assist in drafting the Annual Report for the listed holding company.

1. Fee Protection Scheme & Corporate Compliance

• Lead the implementation and monitoring of the Fee Protection Scheme in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Coordinate with the corporate secretary on:
• Board resolutions
• ACRA filings
• Maintenance of statutory registers
• Uphold strong financial record‑keeping and ensure compliance with internal policies.

1. Full‑Set Accounting & Financial Operations

• Maintain the full set of accounts with high accuracy and adherence to accounting standards.
• Oversee day‑to‑day accounting (sales, purchases, receivables, payables).
• Review quarterly GST filings, CPF submissions, and all tax compliance matters.
• Manage month‑end and year‑end close, including:
• P&L and balance sheet preparation
• Bank reconciliations
• Audit schedules
• Update cash flow reports and review month-end journal entries.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and maintain fixed asset registers.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and other external stakeholders.

1. Collaboration & Ad‑Hoc Projects

• Work cross‑functionally to support compliance and strengthen internal controls.
• Assist with additional finance projects and tasks assigned by management.

Who We Are Looking For

• Degree in Accountancy, ACCA, or equivalent.
• 6+ years of relevant experience, with minimum 2 years in a managerial capacity.
• Prior audit experience is strongly preferred.

• Experience with EduTrust PEIs or SSG Registered Training Providers.

• Strong analytical mindset and exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and lead with accountability.
• Clear, confident communication and teamwork skills.
