Jurong West - Production Chemical Technician (Shift)

• To diagnose and rectify systems and components’ faults in accordance to established procedures and specifications and to ensure that the process units and equipment operates safely and efficiently.
• Performing checks, start-up and shutdown operations on process equipment such as pumps and compressors.
• Carry out filter changes. Isolating piping systems for plant start-up, shutdowns, product grade change and troubleshooting operations
• Adjusting process parameters to optimize process operations under supervision of Supervisors
• Commissioning and decommissioning of process equipment
• Performing emergency shutdown of process equipment
• Proper handing and blending of non-conforming and off specs products
• Preparing plant equipment for maintenance
• Preparing chemicals, including mixing and dilution, for process operations
• Performing inter-tank transfers of chemicals and products based on established quality procedures.
• Performing emergency response activities and drills

Requirements:

• Good knowledge and experiences in PTW system and ERT trainings.
• Knowledgeable about chemical process plant operation
• Knowledge with DCS.
• Knowledgeable about emergency response practices
• Basic investigation skills to make right judgement in the continuous operational environment
• Willing to work 12 hours shift
