Finance Manager (Real Estate) - Toa Payoh
The Company
Our client is a prominent real estate group with a global portfolio spanning commercial, industrial, hospitality, retail, and residential assets. As the business continues to expand and strengthen its market presence, they are seeking a Finance Manager to join their leadership team.
The Role
Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
- Manage monthly financial closing, payments, and review of accounting transactions across a portfolio of 30-40 companies in Singapore, China, and Indonesia.
- Oversee statutory reporting, including XBRL filings, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal control requirements.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning for a portfolio of companies, ensuring alignment with management expectations.
- Partner with tax teams to ensure timely compliance and resolution of corporate tax queries.
- Manage relationships with auditors, tax agents, and service providers to facilitate efficient audits and financial operations.
- Drive process improvements, enhance internal controls, and implement accounting system upgrades and finance automation initiatives to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Your Profile
As the successful candidate, you will possess a degree in Accountancy or ACCA with the following relevant experience:
- At least 8 years of full sets accounting experience, preferably within large real estate firms.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to coach and guide teams
- Prior exposure in system implementation will be ideal but not a must
- Detail-oriented, open to learning new areas-including sustainability reporting-and possesses strong communication skills.
