Quantity Surveyor (Tender)

• 5 days work week only
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
• Familiarity with local regulations and industry standards in the construction sector

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documents for construction projects
• Negotiating and managing contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders
• Monitoring project costs and expenditures, and providing regular financial reports to project managers
• Identifying and evaluating cost-saving opportunities throughout the construction process
• Advising on contractual and commercial matters, and resolving any disputes that may arise
• Collaborating with the project team to ensure the successful delivery of construction projects within budget and on time

Job Requirements:

• Degree or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
• Strong understanding of construction contracts, cost management, and financial reporting
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Proficient in the use of quantity surveying software and other relevant tools
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with multi-disciplinary teams
• Familiarity with local regulations and industry standards in the construction sector
