Technician Manager

The Technician Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the technical team, ensuring that all maintenance, installation, and repair work is completed efficiently and in accordance with company standards. This role involves supervising technicians, coordinating schedules, managing technical projects, and ensuring safety and quality compliance.

The Technician Manager will also provide technical guidance, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure that equipment and systems operate reliably. The role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and team members effectively.

• Supervise, train, and manage a team of technicians.
• Plan and coordinate daily technical operations, maintenance, and repair tasks.
• Ensure all work is completed according to safety regulations and company policies.
• Monitor equipment performance and resolve complex technical issues.
• Develop preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime.
• Assign tasks and schedules to technicians based on workload and priority.
• Maintain accurate service reports, maintenance records, and documentation.
• Ensure technicians follow proper procedures and quality standards.
• Coordinate with other departments and management to meet operational goals.
• Manage inventory of tools, equipment, and spare parts.
• Evaluate technician performance and provide coaching and support.

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Technical Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in technical maintenance, repair, or service operations.
• Previous supervisory or team management experience is preferred.

• Good leadership and communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively.
• Knowledge of safety standards and operational procedures.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications and reporting systems.
