Resident Architect (Contract)

Contract Duration: Immediate till 30 June 2027
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and inspect architectural works on-site to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications and authorities’ requirements
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and the project team on site matters and technical issues
- Review and monitor shop drawings, material submissions, and method statements
- Ensure works are carried out in accordance with project quality standards and timelines
- Identify and resolve design discrepancies, site issues, and construction challenges
- Attend site meetings and provide updates on architectural progress
- Monitor workmanship and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards
- Assist in resolving Requests for Information (RFIs) and site instructions
- Support the project team in inspections, testing and commissioning processes
- Maintain proper documentation and site records
- Monitor Contractor’s Progress and report to the project team
Requirements:
- Degree in Architecture from a recognized institution
- Preferably a Registered Architect with the Board of Architects Singapore
- Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience, with prior experience as a Resident Architect or in a similar site-based role in Singapore
- Good knowledge of local codes, regulations
- Strong coordination, communication and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility and accountability
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
