Our client is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join their team!

• Facility Management: Plan and execute tasks related to facilities, including upgrading and repairing machinery and equipment.
• Vendor Coordination: Liaise with external vendors for specialized repairs and new components, reviewing quotes and making cost-effective recommendations.
• Training and Development: Conduct basic maintenance training on machinery and equipment for end users, enhancing team capabilities.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve machinery malfunctions, ensuring smooth production operations.
• Preventive Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance tasks on production machinery, including oil changes, electrical checks, and filter system updates.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of repairs and preventive maintenance work, ensuring transparency and efficiency.
• Inventory Management: Identify and purchase critical spares for preventive maintenance, optimizing equipment uptime.
• Proactive Problem-Solving: Identify potential failure causes in machinery and arrange for preventive repairs to minimize downtime.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to in-house safety rules and procedures by all vendors and contractors.
• Team Leadership: Supervise contractors performing maintenance jobs, fostering a collaborative work environment.

• Experienced Professional: At least 5 years of experience in maintenance and repair within a manufacturing environment.
• Licensed Electrician: Holder of a Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW) - Basic/Standard License (Grade 7).
• Facilities Expert: Knowledge of facilities management, including fire safety systems, wastewater systems, cranes, and electrical troubleshooting.
• Team Player: Highly motivated individual who thrives in a dynamic team environment.
• Ethical Practitioner: Someone who acts with integrity and demonstrates the highest ethical behavior.
• Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with working knowledge of CNC machines and equipment.
• Safety Conscious: Strong awareness of Health, Safety, and Environment practices with a safety-first mindset.
• Problem Solver: Demonstrates strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Flexible Worker: Willing to work rotating shifts, including standby 24/7, and beyond normal office hours when required.
