Account Executive - Direct mid-market - Geylang

We are seeking a driven and customer-focused Account Executive to manage and grow our Direct Mid-Market client segment. This role requires a balanced focus of 50% new customer acquisition (hunting) and 50% existing account management and expansion (farming).
The ideal candidate is proactive, strategic, and skilled at building long-term relationships while driving consistent revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
New Business Acquisition (50%)- Identify, prospect, and develop new mid-market customers through targeted outreach (calls, emails, networking, events)
- Qualify opportunities, conduct needs analyses, and develop compelling sales proposals
- Own the full sales cycle from lead generation through negotiation and closing
- Achieve quarterly and annual new revenue targets
- Manage a portfolio of existing mid-market accounts, ensuring high customer engagement and satisfaction
- Build strong, trusted advisor relationships with key decision-makers and influencers
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities to maximize account value
- Conduct regular business reviews and performance analysis to retain and grow revenue
- Work closely with Pre-Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure seamless onboarding and delivery
- Provide market intelligence and feedback to internal teams for continuous improvement
- Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce)
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field (preferred)
- 3–5 years of B2B sales experience, ideally in mid-market segments or SaaS/Technology environments
- Proven track record in both acquiring new business and growing existing accounts
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Highly motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Hunter mindset with strong prospecting skills
- Relationship-builder with excellent client empathy and service excellence
- Strong business acumen and ability to tailor solutions to customer needs
