Toa Payoh - Project / site architect

Responsibilities:

• Oversees all architectural teams as project-in-charge;
• Works closely with Team Leaders to highlight discrepancies in drawings or lacking areas to ensure smooth delivery of project;
• Liaises with contractors and consultants on work site;
• Reviews shop drawings, RFI, material samples, method statement, etc;
• Liaises with design team on design, coordination issues;
• Attends and chairs meetings with design team and coordinates with all disciplines involved in projects (e.g. direct contract works, architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical, interior design and landscaping);
• Coordinates site inspection and authority clearances;
• Supervises the contractors to ensure works comply with approved drawings and specifications;
• Coordinates with the operators/users and contractors to facilitate the installation of furniture, fixtures and equipment;
• Coordinates Testing & Commissioning, Completion and Handover of the project;
• Oversees and monitor progress of on-site work and resolves any arising issues;
• Establish requirements of Site Office Operations by the contractor

• Graduated with a recognised Degree in Architecture or related discipline;
• Possesses minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience in architectural or related practice either in an Architectural Office or Project Site;
• Knowledge of fitting out works, building and architectural details, working drawings and construction practices;
• Knowledge of computer 3D and presentation programmes such as Microsoft Powerpoint, Revit, and Microsoft Office;
• Conversant with local codes and regulations.
